Go Monk. You never see any W/Mo's running around anymore.

Monk - protection
or
Ele - earth

could be a good solution.

thx guys i think i made a decision:

ill take out a stance or take out healing signet and put in:

Shielding Hands-reduced damage
++++++++++++
Vital Blessing-added max health

_-OR-_

Heling Breeze-life regeneration
++++++++++
Vigorous Spirit-heal ally(or self) whenever ally(or self) attacks

TELL ME WHAT YOU GUYS THINK ABOUT THIS IDEA

My basic farmer/tank is a W/R Axe/Tactics/Wilderness

Axe: 12+1+3
Tactics: 9+3
Strength: 5(dumped rest of points
Wilderness: 8

-Apply Poison: 9 second duration poison per hit
-Cyclone Axe: +13 AoE attack for poison spreading
-Bonetti's: 10 seconds of 75% block to recharge your energy and usually charges after one maybe 2 Cyclone's for near constant readiness
-Gladiator's: 10 seconds of 75% block returning 29 damage per blocked melee to attacker
-Shield Stance: 16 seconds of 75% block for when re-applying poison and/or waiting for gladiator's/bonetti's to recharge
-Antidote Sig: rids you of poison/disease/blind(the biggy)
-Heal Sig: 130hp heal
Troll's Unguent: 7 pips of regen

Used to great effect a couple patches ago on flesh golems, but haven't done any farming since then, so wouldn't be able to tell you exactly.

As a tank for a party, I usually swapped shield stance out for Penetrating Blow or Disrupting Chop and swapped troll's unguent out for a res sig.

Also stacking Live Vicariously, Vigorous Spirit and a Vampiric mod as a W/Mo can net you 20 something hp a hit. Thats equivalent to about 12pips of regen while under an attack speed boost. Even more if using cyclone in the middle of ALOT of enemies.

Also allows you to throw Healing Hands in as damage mitgation, but thats not really needed if you are stanced/armor buffed using Live Vicariously/Vigorous Spirit.

i should say ele... if u want the minimum amount of dmg received u should take earth magic ( 9 or higher ). but if u want to be a tank who stands and cast spells i'd say:

- low weaponry (axe/hammer/sword) just the req, preferably 8
- 12+ tactics (14 recommended)
- rest of the points in fire magic.

make sure you wield a 'fiery' weapon.

- watch yourself
- bonetti's defence
- healing signet
- gladiators defence {E} / defensive stance
- glyph of elemental power
- lava font
- inferno
- conjure flame

now u can basically keep on watch yourself and bonetti's, which gives you enough energy to almost constantly use lava font ()only works against large groups). but u got to experiment with skills and stuff wo i hope this helpes you out a bit .

Healing breeze, please no. Since you're using axe, take live vicariously too, and make some use of that cyclone. I would never use Vital Blessing on myself, unless it was to make up for 3 superior runes. Then I could see a use for it, otherwise it's just a pretty number.

Sword Warrior Build:

OK, ok so there are a lot of solo farming builds out there, especially with Warriors, but I thought that I would put my 2 cents in on my build.

Armament:
Platemail Helm with Major Vigor
Gladiator's Hauberk With Major Absorption
Gladiator's Guantlets With Major Tactics
Gladiator's Leggings With Major Strength
Knights Boots with Major Swordsmanship
Gold Fellblade 15^50 // 10/9 Sundering // +6 Armor vs. Physical

Atts:

8 Smiting
6+3 Strength
11+2 Swordsmanship
10+2 Tactics

Skills:

Sever Artery
Bonetti's Defense
Gladiator's Defense
Watchful Spirit
Balthazar's Spirit
Balthazar's Aura
Symbol of Wrath
Healing Signet

The Execution:

I farm mainly elona reach, but this can be used for Griffon farming also, as I have done it before...

1. Cast your Spirits
2. Gather up as many groups of minos as you can.
3. A couple of hits and you should have enough energy to cast SoW and GD.
4. Attack building up Bonetti's, use Sever Artery as attacks will not disengage GD.
5. Hit Bonetti's as GD is wearing off.
6. When Bonetti's starts blinking (wearing off) hit Balt's Aura.
7. As wait 2 seconds after casting Aura and hit bonetti's again.
8. GD and SoW again and it is all over.

This is a very simple build, you just have to get your timing right. After you do, Elona mino runs take about 5 minutes. If doing Elona, always be sure to have an Elonian key or two with you as, 90% of the time, there is an Elonian Chest in the backside of the mission, next to the Ghost (Just hold down "ALT" and pan around to see). I am not gonna claim that this will make you a millionaire overnight, but I have gotten some pretty nice drops from this run. I got 2 Black Dyes and numerous Weapons (Purple, Blue, and Gold) from this run, including the aforementioned Sword that I use.
